Good News and Bad News Commissions Open!

Hey all! So, I know i haven't been here in a while but I have some bad news and good news!
Good news is I got a part time job, minimum wage because of course but it is something. Bad news is the source of my supplementary income will be dried up for a couple months. Basically, I would donate plasma twice a week and would make up to $245 a month which was very good extra income for me and the GF, honestly.

So with that extra moolah gone for a while, it gave me some motivation to open up my commissions and even make a new updated commission sheet! You can find the sheet here:

Aaaaay! How ya doin? I hope it's well.

My last journal was in March, it's been a loooong time since I posted anything, now everyone uses the polls and statuses more, lol, I feel old. I'm only 23.

Anyway, life has been rollercoaster, lots of good with some bad sprinkled in, but nothing manageable. uvu. My and my girlfriend finally moved into a better and cheaper apartment, we LOVE it! It's technically smaller but the floor plan is so much more open than our last place so win/win!

We got the place more or less decorated, got our art studios and desk set up, perfect.

I finally got to go to the dentist! Haven't mentioned it here but my gums are a mess. I've only been to the dentist about 3 times in my life, I don't have insurance that covers dental. /cries

But I tried to shop around, been to two dentists that turned out to give me prices far far out there, bout $500 for the Deep Cleaning that I needed.

I ended up checking out a dental college that a friend told me about. Got evaluated and junk, took X-Rays, all that jazz. Finally got an actual explanation of what's happening, what could happen, and how it can be fixed. AND A PRICE THAT DIDN'T MAKE ME WANNA DIE! I was told it would cost $210 ouo More than half of what the other dentists quoted me.

So I've just been waiting for the dental student assigned to me to get back to me, it's been about 2 weeks so I left a message last Thursday. Hopefully they get back to me soon. But, more importantly, I thought it in good Artist fashion to hold another commission sale til mid-September.

I'm thinkin, Cheeb Sketches and Flats for $5-15 would be more than fair. Samples Below

Kind of a Pickle

Sooo, me and Greteh have been alright with paying bills and things, strapped, but making it. But ya know everybody runs into a problem or makes a mistake sometimes, tis life and we're only human. Grete is in the red about $40 or so dollars and gas and electric is due the day before she gets paid this week. I think I can cover her overdraft fee's but there is still the two bills that are around $50 altogether.

So I'm opening commissions!

My prices are in a custom box on my profile.
I can draw anything fandom-related, Valentine's Day stuff even passed tomorrow, NSFW, and Pixel art.
Pixel art doesn't have a set price, yet, please message me if you want one, small, large, simple, complex, I'll let you know the cost.
I can do a painterly style and even a simpler CG style of coloring if you like, the price will change if you want that style, though.

I'm Alive!

Writing to say that I'm still alive, this year has gotten off to a slow start, I'm sorry. ;c
I have been working on some things here and there, nothing really finished to post up, though, but I'll get something out soon.

I think I've mentally laid out what I wanna do this year art-wise, I want to work more on fleshing out my story for the comic and getting over the idea that it won't be out very soon but to still have fun with working on it. Also think I should post more things up about it, to and take my own advice, haha. Would any of you like to hear about it?
I plan on making reference sheets for my characters and OCs in general because I feel like I need to in order to solidify their presence for my sake. Ever feel like you have an idea but it's just floating and never feels real until you actually write it down? Yeah, that's me more often than not.

I plan on trying new things with drawing and coloring, too. I would have so much out if I just got out of my own way, ya know? Such is my life. But I'm gonna try my best to not let me fear of not knowing what I'm doing get the best of me...hopefully. c:

Again, sorry for being so gosh darn inactive!
I'm not the best admin, I'm better at lurking which ain't too much better, lol.
